Internship Information and Requirements:

AMT397 and AMT 398 classes have a combination of class experience and internship experience. The classes are co-taught with your career advisors.

AMT397 Industry Seminar – 80 hour required internship- Associate's students will take this class during their final semester. Bachelor’s students should take this class during their 5th semester

AMT398 Internship and Portfolio– 120 hour required internship- This class is only for Bachelor’s students and it is to be taken during their final semester

  • All internship hours must be completed within the same semester as the Internship Portfolio & Seminar class.
  • See your Career Advisor any time for help with resumes, cover letters, internship ideas, application assistance, career advice, interview tips, and more!

  • The more internships you do, the better job opportunities you will find!
  • Please take on multiple internships in addition to the required one(s) if you have the time to do so!
