Location Recording Club

The purpose of the location recording club is to go into the field and make
professional recordings for third party clients. Specifically, there is a
partnership between NEiA and Boston College to record several of their
concerts, including their arts festival. The venues vary from a small
recital hall, to a theater, two churches, and the football stadium. The
concerts have live audiences and are typically classical or jazz in style.
They range from small ensembles to the marching band, which approaches 200 musicians. Location Recording runs as a class in the Fall semester and as a club in the Winter and Summer semesters.
