Naked Ear Records

Naked Ear Records in an independent label run by and for students at the New England Institute of Art. With the help of Faculty Advisor and longtime Boston Producer Barry Marshall, students gain experience with record label operations, seeing projects from artist inception through album production and finally promoting the artist's record release party.

Throughout the process, studets are encouraged to utilize the myriad of other programs at NEiA, working with graphic design students on album design and radio students for live concert webcasts. Given the support from faculty and staff, students decide how to take the label into the future.
