 Associate of Science in Audio Production
The Associate of Science Program is a two-year, full time study to give students the essential skills and knowledge necessary to work in the field of audio. Students graduating with an Associate Degree in Audio Production may continue their studies in the Bachelor's degree program or enter the work force. Graduates from the Associate's program may begin careers in music recording, television, radio, studio management, corporate AV, technical support, and others.
Bachelor of Science in Audio and Media Technology
The Bachelor of Science Program is a four-year, full time, intensive study in audio and media technology. Bachelor's degree candidates must complete all of the core curriculum in the Associate's degree plus additional courses in electronics, business, ear training, sound for picture, web technologies, and a variety of studio production courses. In addition, Bachelor's degree candidates may choose a concentration of study in Audio Production or Audio and Video Technology.
  Audio Production Concentration
  Students in the Audio Production concentration focus their studies in audio recording, editing, and mixing audio or content that is used in presentations where the audio is the primary media. The Audio Production concentration allows students to take advanced production courses in music recording, live sound, maintenance, and radio. Students in this concentration may also opt to focus on the business and management aspects of the audio industry.
  Audio and Video Technology Concentration
  Students in the Audio and Video Technology concentration focus their studies in audio recording, editing, and mixing audio content to be used in conjunction with visual media. Students take advanced production courses in sound for picture as well as fundamental courses in video technology and multimedia.
