The Audio Production Portfolio
The Audio Portfolio is a collection of a student's best work, designed to display their mastery of the program exit competencies to the public. All students are required to submit a completed portfolio of works produced in their classes at New England Institute of Art.

The Portfolios are reviewed and critiqued in AMT 397 for Associate students and AMT 397 & AMT 398 for Bachelor students. Portfolio projects are produced as part of a variety of courses in the Audio Production Program, or as part of an internship. A project must be approved by the instructor for the class in which the project was produced, or approved by the student’s internship supervisor, to be eligible for inclusion in a student's portfolio. Instructor approval is done as part of the project grading process.

Students complete their portfolios as part of the AMT 397 and AMT 398 curriculum. The portfolios must be assembled as a collection of works and presented in a professional manner. Work necessary to complete portfolios will include editing and mastering of recordings, editing of final drawings and written materials, graphics, credits and labeling. Students will have access to the MIDI/Digital Audio Lab to assemble their portfolios.
