Studio G is a specialized room used for teaching upper level Bachelor's program course including surround mixing, audio post production for TV and film, and audio mastering. Primary components are a Yamaha DM2000 digital console, Pro Tools HD system, large screen video projection system, and Quested 5.1 monitoring. Various professional outboard gear and two isolation booths allow for recording foley, vocals, and instruments. Courses include: AMT260: Advanced Hard Disk Recording, AMT340: Sound for Picture, and AMT410 Mastering, and AMT415 Advanced Digital Mixing classes. Studio G was featured in Mix Magazine's Class of 2006 for one of year's best new studios.
